Glen Grace Farm is a  small family farm in the mountains of North Georgia. I fell in love with the Gypsy Horse after going on an equine vacation in Scotland.  I rode through bogs, rivers, up mountains, across moors, over ancient stone fences -  these sturdy horses saw us through wind, rain, sunshine and hail. (Yes, it was an adventure of a lifetime!)  I asked our guide what was the breed of this sweet, gentle, compact, and very capable horse I was riding. She told me, “ Oh, that’s a gypsy horse or a tinker, or some call them gypsy cobs.”  I came home and immediately hit the internet, finding out all I could about this gentle, sturdy horse and I haven’t looked back since!

Both our mares are imported from England off of well known farms and we take very careful consideration as to how they are bred. Conformation and temperment are our two biggest concerns. We are interested in keeping this breed exactly how it was intended. Big apple butts, heavy bone, short backs, lots of feather, but just as important - a gentle disposition.

We hope you enjoy looking around our site. If you would like to come visit, please give us a call. We would love to meet you and show you around our place.
