New Arrival on the Farm

We are so excited to have a new baby on the farm! Due to economic conditions and a baby we lost 2 years ago, it has been 4 long years since we've had a precious little one born on our farm. Saphira was born on a warm June evening and we've been in love with her since the first moment she arrived!

Here are some pictures of her since that first special day. In the first one she is about 6 weeks old, the other is her newborn picture...this is one sweet filly!

Felicia Britt Horsemanship Clinic Here at Glen Grace Farm

I am very excited to announce that we are hosting an in-hand training clinic with Felicia Britt March 16-18. She has an amazing way with horses and an exceptional talent to communicate with both the horse and it's owner - I have had the good fortune to meet Felicia and learn from her training methods and can say first hand that it has been some of the best training I have received.

Enjoying our Beautiful Gypsy Horses

Thought I'd share a couple of pictures of the "girls" being used on our property. We enjoy riding and driving both our mares. We are blessed to have premission to ride on property all around us, mostly small farms like our own. It is a true joy to be able to go out on a beautiful afternoon and go for a ride or drive.:)

The first picture is Gypsy Wind being driven through our pines and then the second picture is of my oldest son out for a ride on Silver.

Feathered Horse Classic in Perry, GA

Well, I had a successful trip to Perry, GA and the Feathered Horse Classic last week. I took Gypsy Wind and entered 4 classes. We placed in 3 of the 4 classes and I was very proud of how Wind behaved. She is such a good girl! 

Showing definitely puts me way outside of my comfort zone, but I am so glad I went. I am really enjoying meeting new people, especially the other Gypsy Horse farms in the Southeast. I hope to continue showing next year - I am planning on getting Ella started ...
